**Job Title** Security Analyst **Role Summary** A Security Analyst responsible for protecting the organization's digital assets across cloud and on‑prem environments. The role involves continuous monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and the configuration and upkeep of security tools and frameworks to ensure robust security posture. **Expectations** * 5+ years of experience in a cyber‑security or SOC role. * Proven ability in threat detection, incident investigation, and security tool administration. * Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication for reporting and stakeholder engagement. * Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on emerging threats. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Monitor systems, networks, and user activity for suspicious behaviour or policy violations. 2. Investigate and manage security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and produce incident reports. 3. Deploy, configure, and maintain SIEM, SOAR, XDR, firewall, and other core security platforms. 4. Conduct vulnerability assessments, coordinate remediation, and support patch management. 5. Perform regular reviews, health checks, and enhancements of security controls. 6. Assist with internal and external security audits and assessment activities. 7. Update incident response plans, playbooks, and related procedures. 8. Provide third‑line support to IT staff and business users on security matters. **Required Skills** * SIEM and SOAR platforms (rule creation, tuning, threat hunting). * Log analytics, dashboards, and visualization tools. * Firewall administration (CheckPoint, VMware NSX). * Windows Server and Desktop administration. * Azure and Microsoft 365 security configuration and alert investigation. * XDR solutions – tuning and alert investigation. * Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS). * Strong analytical skills with large data sets and security analytics tools. * Excellent communication and documentation abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** * Relevant degree or equivalent experience in IT Security, Cyber Security, or related field. * Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred. ---
