Job Description: Job Title: Functional Analyst Java Role Summary: Agile functional analyst who interprets business requirements for a critical accounting system supporting Belgian social security, translating them into clear specifications (user stories, UML diagrams) and validating technical solutions with Java/Angular developers. Expactations: - Minimum 5 years experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst with technical aptitude. - Proficiency in Dutch (C1 business level); French knowledge required. - Deep understanding of accounting and public‑sector administrative processes. Key Responsibilities: - Capture and translate business needs into user stories, use cases, and UML diagrams. - Work closely with Java/Spring and Angular developers to validate solution feasibility and quality. - Coordinate with stakeholders to interpret regulatory requirements (social contributions, tax declarations). - Maintain documentation in JIRA and Confluence. Required Skills: - Functional analysis, requirements engineering, and business process modeling. - Familiarity with Java (Spring), Angular, REST APIs, and SQL data structures. - Agile practices and tools: JIRA, Confluence. - Strong communication in Dutch (business French optional).
