**Job title** Junior Inspection Engineer **Role Summary** Support the baseline inspection process for pipeline, vessel, and structural assets. Prepare and issue Work Scope Evaluations (WSEs), manage inspection documentation, maintain anti‑corrosion and integrity data systems, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, timely WSEs and inspection reports. - Ensure all baseline data is correctly entered, verified, and archived in the Integrity Data Management System (IDMS). - Maintain dashboards and register updates to reflect inspection progress and anomalies. - Collaborate effectively with inspectors, QA/QC, and project stakeholders to guarantee complete inspection readiness. **Key Responsibilities** - Create WSEs for equipment, pipework, and structures, indicating inspection locations and criteria. - Define inspection techniques, acceptance criteria, and documentation formats. - Mark up CMLs on ISO specifications and 3‑D model extracts for piping, and highlight GA drawings for pressure vessels, exchangers, and tanks. - Extract, manage, and control revisions for drawings, P&IDs, and design data (xCPage, Navisworks, etc.). - Track and record inspection progress, anomalies, and uploads in the Baseline Register and IDMS. - Review and ensure completeness of baseline inspection reports. - Coordinate inspection readiness with baseline inspectors, construction teams, and vendors (access, insulation, scaffolding, permits). - Contribute baseline data to Risk‑Based Inspection (RBI) studies, including corrosion loop definition, data verification, and workshop support. - Update P&IDs with RBI findings and maintain the hierarchical structure in IDMS. - Generate audit‑ready IDMS reports and liaise with QA/QC on fabrication/vendor records. - Participate in project progress and integrity meetings; provide technical updates on inspection status. - Identify recurring workflow issues, propose corrective actions, and support template/tool development for future projects. **Required Skills** - Proficient with CMMS (SAP, Maximo). - Familiarity with IDMS platforms (Antea, Visions, IMS, or equivalent). - Experience using SP3D, Navisworks, or similar 3‑D modeling tools. - Advanced Excel skills for data organization and reporting. - Strong written and verbal communication in English. - Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and inspection documentation. - Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple simultaneous tasks. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum, or Structural Engineering (or related field). - Basic certification or training in inspection or integrity management is advantageous but not mandatory.
