**Job Title**
Public Cloud Architect (M/F)
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and drive the adoption of public‑cloud solutions across a large financial information system, with a focus on Kubernetes, hybrid cloud strategies, and managed services. Collaborate with business, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to define landing zones, secure connectivity, and scalable service catalogues, while ensuring architectural excellence and alignment with enterprise standards.
**Expectations**
- Develop architectural solutions that meet performance, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
- Own the end‑to‑end design of cloud foundations, including security, networking, and governance.
- Drive change by challenging existing practices and delivering continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze stakeholder needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Architect and implement landing zones and cloud foundations across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Design secure, connected hybrid environments (transit, VPC/VNet, VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute).
- Define and maintain a cloud service catalogue, including CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
- Automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of cloud resources.
- Review application architecture to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
- Prioritize initiatives with business owners and align with strategic roadmaps.
- Mentor and train teams on cloud best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current on emerging cloud services, architecture patterns, and industry standards.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years in infrastructure architecture, 3+ years on public‑cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven experience building and industrializing landing zones; architecting cloud foundations.
- Deep knowledge of cloud networking, security controls, and hybrid connectivity.
- Experience with managed services (AI/ML, data services, Kubernetes) and integration of CSP offerings.
- Strong IaC skills (Terraform, Pulumi, ARM, Bicep) and experience with GitOps workflows.
- Ability to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and pedagogical abilities across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proactive learner with a drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
