**Job Title:** Cloud Engineer – L3 Application Support **Role Summary:** Provide expert level‑3 support for commercial off‑the‑store (COTS) applications and cloud infrastructures during migration from on‑premise to private cloud environments. Lead the design, deployment and maintenance of Atlassian products on Azure, manage container orchestration with Kubernetes, configure CI/CD pipelines, administer Azure/AWS components, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Deliver rapid incident resolution, maintain knowledge bases, and collaborate with vendors to uphold service levels. **Expectations:** - Maintain high uptime and performance of COTS applications in hybrid cloud environments. - Act as the primary technical authority for Atlassian, Kubernetes, Azure and AWS deployments. - Resolve support tickets to agreed SLAs, document solutions, and drive process improvement. - Participate actively in cloud migration planning, execution, and post‑migration support. **Key Responsibilities:** - Configure, automate, and manage Atlassian Jira Service Management and Jira Software on Azure private cloud and on‑premise. - Design, deploy, and administer Kubernetes clusters in private cloud, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security. - Set up and maintain Azure and AWS infrastructure, including networking, storage, and virtual machines. - Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and updates. - Manage Entra ID groups, roles, and permissions to control access for NBAC business areas. - Deliver L3 support for end‑user issues, troubleshoot application and infrastructure problems. - Log, track, and resolve incidents in the helpdesk ticketing system, escalating to vendor support when necessary. - Contribute to, update, and expand a knowledge base of common issues and resolutions. - Ensure compliance with security policies, monitor applications, and report infrastructure anomalies. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS architecture, services, and best practices. - Proficient with Kubernetes (cluster design, deployment, scaling, RBAC). - Experience with Atlassian products (Jira Service Management, Jira Software) and their automation. - CI/CD pipeline development (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.). - Identity and access management (Entra ID, Azure AD). - Incident management, ticketing systems (Jira Service Management, ServiceNow). - Troubleshooting of Windows, Linux, and COTS application environments. - Excellent documentation and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Associate. - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (preferred). - Kubernetes Certified Application Developer (CKAD) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) desired. - Atlassian Administrator certification preferable.
