Job Description
Job title: Network & Security Engineer (H/F) Role Summary: Conduct end‑to‑end qualification, validation, and integration of networking and security equipment for the group’s infrastructures. Perform technical reviews, build and test reference models, produce qualification documentation, and provide Level 3 support to production teams while ensuring the reliability and security of deployed solutions. Expectations: • Mastery of Juniper routers, firewalls, and switches; familiarity with Huawei devices. • Strong TCP/IP debugging skills and knowledge of protocol supervision. • Comfortable using APIs and scripting for configuration and automation. • Autonomous, meticulous, and analytical with a collaborative mindset. Key Responsibilities: - Qualify network and security equipment (routers, switches, firewalls). - Build and test reference prototypes in alignment with architectural specifications. - Draft qualification reports, installation dossiers, and related technical documentation. - Provide Level 3 support to production teams, addressing issues promptly. - Participate in on‑call rotations and irregular shift interventions when required. Required Skills: - Expertise in Juniper networking products (routers, firewalls, switches). - Experience with Huawei networking environments. - Advanced TCP/IP troubleshooting and debugging. - Proficiency in network protocol supervision (SNMP, NetFlow, syslog, etc.). - API usage and basic scripting (Python, Ansible, or similar). - Documentation and reporting skills. - Strong analytical problem‑solving and independent work ethic. - Teamwork and cross‑functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the print service portfolio for Epson/Ricoh equipment, managing both local and cross‑departmental teams. - Facilitate day‑to‑day proximity interaction, address incidents, prioritise actions, and maintain an operational backlog. - Plan and execute equipment deployments, conduct post‑deployment hand‑offs, and manage inventory and procurement forecasts. - Conduct workshops and change‑management sessions with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment roll‑outs. - Enhance delivery efficiency, streamline inter‑team communications, and raise alerts on emerging issues. - Provide clear, concise reporting to senior management and act as local point of contact for business leaders.
