Enterprise Architect
**Role summary**
Translate corporate strategy into actionable IT transformation. Architect enterprise-wide solutions, guide leaders on strategic decisions, and prioritize IT investments to align with business goals.
**Expectations**
- Deliver visionary, ROI‑focused roadmaps for change across organization, people, processes, and systems.
- Establish and enforce enterprise policies, standards, and governance practices.
- Communicate complex architecture concepts to senior stakeholders in clear, business‑oriented language.
**Key responsibilities**
- Create comprehensive architectural frameworks for complex business and IT landscapes.
- Support business leaders in strategic decision‑making with insights and scenario analysis.
- Develop enterprise change roadmaps covering organizational, people, process, and technology aspects.
- Prioritize IT investments, ensuring alignment with business vision and strategy.
- Define project objectives, boundaries, and governance to keep initiatives strategically focused.
- Establish and maintain enterprise policies, standards, and governance processes (ITIL, COBIT, etc.).
- Translate business requirements into functional and non‑functional specifications, aligning with priorities.
- Apply architecture methods (TOGAF, ArchiMate, Viewpoints) and best practices to guide solution design.
- Facilitate stakeholder collaboration on cloud, non‑cloud, networking, security, privacy, and application architecture.
**Required skills**
- Deep knowledge of architecture principles, frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate), and governance models.
- Experience with IT infrastructure (cloud and on‑prem), operations, security, privacy, and service orientation (SOA, micro‑services).
- Strong ability to map business requirements to architectural solutions.
- Proficiency in architecture methods/techniques and documentation.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is advantageous.
**Required education & certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications such as TOGAF® Certified, ArchiMate Certified, ITIL®, or COBIT are preferred.
