**Role Summary**
Lead the strategic PR direction for global food, drink, and travel clients, creating high‑impact culture‑led campaigns. Partner with senior stakeholders to build reputation, secure media coverage, and drive measurable business outcomes while mentoring a small team in an integrated, ideas‑centric environment.
**Expectations**
- 12‑month maternity cover contract, full‑time, 3 office days per week.
- 10+ years of agency PR experience focused on food, drink, hospitality, and/or travel.
- Proven new‑business track record; pitched and secured major accounts.
- Ability to translate client objectives into actionable PR strategies and compelling stories.
- Established media relationships with key journalists, influencers, and lifestyle outlets.
- Strong leadership capabilities: line‑manage, develop, and motivate junior account staff.
- Budget, forecast, and resource handling expertise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and client‑facing skills.
- Self‑starter mindset with energy, creative problem‑solving, and a collaborative agency culture contribution.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement PR strategies that elevate brand reputation and deliver measurable impact.
- Build and nurture day‑to‑day client relationships, offering clear counsel, creative insight, and confident communication.
- Lead the creation, launch, and execution of multi‑channel campaigns, activations, partnerships, and product/service launches from ideation to delivery.
- Line‑manage and mentor account managers and executives, ensuring high performance, clear progression, and a motivated culture.
- Identify organic growth opportunities within existing accounts and actively contribute to pitches, proposals, and credentials for new business.
- Oversee campaign delivery, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with brief, brand, and financial targets.
- Support senior stakeholders on larger accounts, including briefing, strategy refinement, and stakeholder reporting.
**Required Skills**
- 10+ years of agency PR experience in food, drink, hospitality or travel.
- Proven new‑business development and pitching capability.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate objectives into measurable campaigns.
- Strong media relations: established contacts with food, drink, travel, lifestyle, and consumer outlets.
- Outstanding writing, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Team leadership, coaching, and development of junior talent.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning expertise.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client‑facing communication.

**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
