**Job Title**: ServiceNow Developer **Role Summary**: Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations to meet business requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders on architecture, design reviews, and technical solution explanations. Ensure data integrity across IT service management databases and support continuous improvement of the platform. **Expectations**: - Deliver robust ServiceNow customizations within defined timelines. - Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences. - Take initiative and show readiness to assume additional responsibilities. - Maintain up‑to‑date ServiceNow certifications and pursue continuous learning. **Key Responsibilities**: - Develop and test ServiceNow applications, modules, and scripts (JavaScript, Glide APIs). - Design and implement process workflows, automations, and UI enhancements. - Integrate ServiceNow with third‑party systems (e.g., HR, finance, CMDB). - Ensure data accuracy and integrity for CMDB, HAM, and SAM processes. - Participate in architecture and design reviews; provide technical insights. - Troubleshoot defects, provide root‑cause analysis, and implement fixes. - Document design decisions, technical specifications, and user guides. - Support knowledge transfer and training of end users and junior developers. **Required Skills**: - 3+ years experience as a ServiceNow developer (or 1+ year with Master’s degree). - Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, platform design principles, and performance considerations. - Expertise in JavaScript, GlideRecord, GlideAjax, Service Portal, Flow Designer, and scripting best practices. - Proficiency with integration patterns (SOAP, REST, web services, inbound/outbound integration). - Experience managing ITSM data (CMDB, HAM, SAM) and ensuring data quality. - Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to explain technical solutions. - Self‑motivated, collaborative, and able to take initiative on assignments. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field  (Master’s degree counts if 1+ year dev experience). - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
