Job title: ServiceNow Architect
Role Summary: Define and drive enterprise ServiceNow architecture, mentor and lead development teams, translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions, enforce architecture standards, oversee configuration and implementation across all ServiceNow modules, ensure data integrity, identify automation opportunities, and serve as the primary technical escalation point.
Expactations: 7+ years of end‑to‑end ServiceNow experience, including hands‑on development and architecture leadership; proven ability to mentor and grow technical teams; deep mastery of ServiceNow modules, integrations, and best practices; strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; experience with Agile/DevOps delivery, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration patterns; ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions and drive enterprise implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and grow ServiceNow developers and technical leads.
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
- Define, document, and enforce architecture standards and best practices across all ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, GRC, CMDB, HAM, SAM, CSM, SPM).
- Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to design integrated solutions.
- Oversee configuration, development, and implementation of ServiceNow modules.
- Maintain data integrity and quality across CMDB, HAM, SAM, and related systems.
- Conduct technical reviews, architecture assessments, and solution audits to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
- Identify automation, efficiency, and innovation opportunities within ServiceNow capabilities.
- Provide strategic guidance on roadmap, enhancements, and third‑party integrations.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point and validate solutions.
Required Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow modules and integrations.
- Leadership and mentoring experience with ServiceNow development teams.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps delivery methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and enterprise integration patterns.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture.
Required Education & Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Minimum 7 years of ServiceNow experience with hands‑on development and architecture.
- Preferred additional ServiceNow certifications: Customer Service Management (CSM), IT Service Management (ITSM), Discovery, Service Mapping, Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Application Portfolio Management (APM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
