Job Title: Technical Design Authority (TDA) – Network PoC Lead Role Summary Lead the design, execution, and validation of a multi‑phase Proof of Concept for a next‑generation enterprise network. Drive collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors, produce high‑quality design and test documentation, and deliver actionable recommendations for production deployment. Expectations * Complete a 3‑month PoC covering LAN, Wi‑Fi, Automation, Security, and Monitoring. * Provide verified test results, key findings, and deployment recommendations. * Maintain clear documentation and communication across cross‑functional teams. * Operate independently while coordinating with vendor partners and internal teams. Key Responsibilities 1. **PoC Execution & Leadership** – Manage all PoC phases, coordinate with vendors, and ensure testing is performed per plan. 2. **Design & Documentation** – Create and maintain high‑level and detailed architecture diagrams, validate against enterprise standards, and record test outcomes. 3. **Multivendor Integration** – Configure and validate Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, WLAN controllers, APs, and interoperability. 4. **Automation & Scripting** – Develop Ansible playbooks and Python scripts for build, run, and Zero‑Touch Provisioning (ZTP). 5. **Security & Compliance** – Validate 802.1X, EAP‑TLS, NAC, rogue AP detection, VRF macro‑segmentation, and SDA micro‑segmentation. 6. **Monitoring & Management** – Integrate with SIEM platforms (Splunk/ELK), demonstrate end‑to‑end visibility, backup/restore, and API integrations. 7. **Deliverables** – Submit PoC reports, design documentation, automation scripts, and production‑ready recommendations. Required Skills * Enterprise LAN/Wi‑Fi architecture expertise. * Hands‑on experience with Cisco and Aruba platforms, including NAC, UVA, ClearPass, and WLAN controllers. * Proficient in 802.1X, EAP‑TLS, VLANs, SGT, VRFs, and SDA micro‑segmentation. * Strong Ansible and Python scripting abilities; RESTful API integration experience. * Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK), PKI, and posture‑based access control. * Ability to use network performance tools (iperf3, DHCP/NTP) and AI/ML analytics. * Excellent technical documentation, communication, and analytical skills. Lead end‑to‑end execution of LAN, WLAN, and NAC use cases, automate configuration and compliance testing, and deliver definitive documentation and guidance to client teams. Expactations: - Architect high‑level EVPN‑VXLAN and VRF‑UBT network designs for campus deployments. - Assemble and provision PoC environments using Aruba CX switches, gateways, and Wi‑Fi 7/6 access points. - Configure and validate LAN, WLAN, and NAC functionalities (AAA, segmentation, client isolation, profiling, fast roaming). - Own full PoC lifecycle: planning, construction, testing, and handover. - Integrate ClearPass for authentication, profiling, and policy enforcement. - Utilize Aruba Central for orchestrated configuration, monitoring, automation, and template management. - Produce test reports, technical documentation, and deliver customer training. - Employ Python (Netmiko, Paramiko, NAPALM), Ansible, and Aruba APIs to automate configuration, upgrades, compliance checks, and post‑change validation.
