**Job Title:** National Security Consultant
**Role Summary:**
Provide end‑to‑end technical consultancy for the deployment, configuration, and optimisation of i2 intelligence analysis platforms for UK and EMEA customers. Act as a trusted client partner, delivering architecture, customisation, performance tuning, and training to enable analysts to extract actionable intelligence from complex datasets.
**Expectations:**
- Full‑time, permanent role with remote or hybrid work and frequent travel to UK and EMEA sites.
- Maintain required UK security clearance and handle sensitive data responsibly.
- Deliver high‑quality solutions, exceed client expectations, and support long‑term optimisation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement solution architecture, planning roadmaps, upgrades, data migrations, and performance tuning.
- Configure and customise core products (Analyst’s Notebook, iBase, Analysis Hub/Studio, TextChart) to fit client workflows and integrate with existing systems.
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional configurations and technical designs; communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Conduct health checks, refine performance, recommend improvements, and guide clients on enhancing analyst workflows and system maturity.
- Deliver knowledge transfer sessions, best‑practice training, demonstrations, and up‑skill client analysts.
**Required Skills:**
- 3–5 years consulting experience, at least 2 years client‑facing, preferably in intelligence, security, or government sectors.
- Hands‑on coding skills in JavaScript/TypeScript/React.
- Database experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including T‑SQL.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- UK residency, no sponsorship required, and eligibility for security clearance.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.).
- Business analysis or intelligence analysis certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
