**Job title:** Power Platform Data Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, build, and support end‑to‑end data solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) to enable efficient data access, analysis, and process automation for data and intelligence stakeholders. **Expectations:** - Proactively identify opportunities for data‐driven improvement and automation. - Translate business requirements into robust, user‑friendly Power Platform solutions. - Maintain high quality, reliable deployments with documented, repeatable processes. - Champion testability, peer review, and best practices across the team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement Power BI dataflows and analytical data models. - Build Power Automate workflows to streamline manual processes and eliminate duplication. - Develop Power Apps for data capture, validation, and cross‑team sharing. - Embed data quality checks, validation, and monitoring into all solutions. - Collaborate closely with business users to gather requirements and deliver impactful outcomes. - Document solution architecture and share knowledge within the data engineering team. - Participate in stability, resilience, and change management activities for deployed products. **Required Skills:** - Deep expertise in Power BI (dataflow design, DAX, Power Query). - Proficiency with Power Automate (flow design, connectors, approval workflows). - Experience building Power Apps (canvas or model‑driven, integration with dataflows). - Strong data modeling and ETL knowledge. - Familiarity with data quality, testing, and monitoring practices. - Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills. - Problem‑solving mindset with root‑cause analysis capability. - Willingness to learn emerging data engineering trends and tools. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field. - Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform App Maker, Power Platform Developer, or Power BI Data Analyst are highly desirable. - Minimum 2 years of relevant data engineering or Power Platform experience.
