Job Description
**Job Title:** Social Law Internship – July – December 2026 **Role Summary:** An integrated, 6‑month internship within a People & Reward legal team. The intern will support private and collective labour‑law matters, including executive hiring/departures, HR counsel, collective agreements, complex social restructures (M&A, redundancies), and litigation. Work is bilingual (French & English) and may involve collaboration with other practice groups and international offices. **Expectations:** - Full team integration with exposure to a wide variety of cases. - Rapid development of organisational and technical legal skills. - Contribution to research, drafting, client communication, and internal knowledge‑sharing. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Conduct legal research on employment and labour‑law topics. 2. Draft legal memoranda, consultation notes, and synthesis documents. 3. Prepare and edit documents such as collective agreements, contracts, and information letters. 4. Assist in litigation support: draft pleadings, manage evidence, and summarize court findings. 5. Compose client‑facing emails and correspondence. 6. Support event planning, newsletter creation, and presentation of social‑law updates. 7. Liaise with HR, legal, corporate, competition, and other departments on joint matters. 8. Coordinate or attend international team meetings and multi‑jurisdictional projects. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical and synthesis ability. - High attention to detail and organisational competence. - Active listening and clear communication skills in both French and English. - Excellent written and oral communication in both languages. - Team‑player attitude with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master 2 (or currently holding) in Social / Labour Law, or an equivalent law degree from an IEP/Business School with a focus on social law. - No additional certifications required, though familiarity with modern legal research tools is desirable. ---
