**Job Title** Senior Full‑Stack JavaScript Developer **Role Summary** Drive the architectural transformation of a large monolithic Ruby on Rails application into a modern Node.js microservices stack. Deliver high‑performance, scalable features across the Vue.js front‑end and Node.js/TypeScript back‑end, while ensuring continuous delivery, code quality, and user engagement. **Expectations** - Demonstrate deep technical ownership and proactive problem‑solving. - Operate autonomously with clear communication across multidisciplinary impact teams. - Focus on measurable business impact, primarily the increase of active users. - Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of technical excellence. - Always stay updated with Web & cloud technologies and propose relevant improvements. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design, implement, and maintain end‑to‑end features using Vue.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS S3. 2. Write clean, test‑driven code (unit tests, integration tests) and perform rigorous code reviews. 3. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to guarantee rapid, reliable deployments. 4. Continuous improvement: identify bottlenecks, propose and implement architectural or tooling changes. 5. Participate in the migration from Rails monolith to Node.js microservices, ensuring business continuity. 6. Mentor junior engineers (pair programming, knowledge transfer). 7. Collaborate closely with product, design, and quality teams to deliver user‑centric solutions. 8. Conduct technology scouting, evaluate new libraries, infrastructure, or patterns for potential adoption. **Required Skills** - Strong proficiency in Vue.js, Node.js, and TypeScript. - Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS). - Deep understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices. - Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration. - Ability to write maintainable, well‑documented code following clean‑code principles. - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. - Mentoring and coaching experience preferred. - Solid grasp of agile development principles and sprint processes. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. - Relevant certifications (AWS, Scrum Master, etc.) are a plus but not mandatory.
