Job title: Business Development Manager (H/F)
Role Summary:
Lead global growth strategy for high‑technology industrial components, driving market expansion, pipeline development, and revenue generation in critical sectors (aerospace, space, defense, rail, medical). Act as liaison between clients, sales, R&D, and operations to ensure profitable project delivery and product adoption.
Expectations:
- Expand pipeline by identifying new applications and key customers.
- Increase sales volume of existing accounts and secure major opportunities.
- Ensure project profitability through pricing and quotation accuracy.
- Deliver effective sales enablement tools and train global sales force.
- Provide first‑line technical support to sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new markets, applications, and customers in aviation, space, defense, rail, and medical.
- Grow revenue from legacy accounts and capture new, high‑value business.
- Set competitive pricing, produce quotes, and maintain margin objectives.
- Develop compelling sales materials, technical documentation, and product messaging.
- Train and mentor sales representatives, distributors, and partner teams worldwide.
- Conduct market, trend, and competitive analysis to inform a 5‑year product roadmap and associated business plans.
- Collaborate with R&D to define product life cycle, from launch to phase‑out, ensuring alignment with market needs.
- Serve as internal product and application subject‑matter expert, providing precise insights on target segments and opportunities.
- Support cross‑functional projects involving R&D, Sales, and Operations.
- Travel up to 30 % of the time within France and abroad to engage clients and partners.
