Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Contaminated Sites & Soils Engineering
Role Summary
Lead and deliver multidisciplinary remediation projects for contaminated industrial and commercial sites. Lead a multidisciplinary team of 12‑15 professionals, ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and profitability while supporting regional growth and business development.

Key Responsibilities
1. **Team Leadership:** Recruit, coach, and evaluate project staff; manage workload and professional development.
2. **Project Management:** Plan, execute, and monitor remediation projects from feasibility through construction oversight.
3. **Technical Oversight:** Review all technical deliverables (site assessments, remediation plans, cost/benefit analyses, environmental monitoring reports).
4. **Contract & Finance Management:** Administer contracts, monitor billing, manage change orders, and ensure profitability.
5. **Quality & Compliance:** Enforce industry and regulatory standards, conduct risk assessments, and manage safety procedures.
6. **Client & Stakeholder Liaison:** Present status updates, facilitate client meetings, and coordinate with partners and subcontractors.
7. **Business Development:** Draft and supervise technical‑commercial proposals, support sales teams, and promote the firm’s expertise in the Grand Ouest region.
8. **Research & Innovation:** Participate in R&D activities related to site and soil remediation technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong project management and leadership abilities; proficiency in project management software.
- Deep technical knowledge of contaminated site investigation, remediation techniques, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Financial acumen: budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
- Problem‑solving mindset; ability to adapt to complex, evolving environments.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience managing contaminated site remediation projects.
- Professional certifications preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE2, Environmental Professional (CEIP, CDE, etc.).
- Familiarity with French environmental legislation (e.g., Code de l’Environnement) and ISO 14001 is an asset.
