Job Description
**Job Title** Commercial Renewals Manager **Role Summary** Manage the end‑to‑end renewal cycle for commercial insurance portfolios, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant renewals while driving client retention, upsell opportunities, and revenue growth. Partner with account executives, underwriters, brokers, and support teams to deliver competitive terms and a superior client experience. Lead and develop the renewals team in a fast‑paced, structured environment. **Expectations** - Deliver renewal targets and retention KPIs consistently. - Maintain high accuracy and compliance standards. - Foster strong internal and external relationships. - Identify and act on cross‑sell/upsell opportunities. - Lead process‑improvement initiatives and coach team members. **Key Responsibilities** - Oversee the full renewal process for commercial insurance clients, ensuring deadlines and regulatory compliance. - Coordinate with account managers, underwriters, and brokers to negotiate and present renewal terms. - Lead the renewals team, enforce standard operating procedures, and provide performance feedback. - Monitor client portfolios, track retention metrics, and report forecasting and performance analysis. - Drive initiatives to enhance client experience and streamline renewal workflows. - Serve as escalation point for complex or high‑value renewals. - Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements. **Required Skills** - Proven experience in renewals, retention, or client management within insurance or financial services. - Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and renewal cycles. - Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. - Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities. - Leadership and coaching capabilities. - Analytical mindset for KPI tracking and performance forecasting. - Proficiency with CRM and insurance policy administration systems. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Chartered Insurance Practitioner, CPCU, or similar) preferred but not mandatory.
