**Job Title**
Systems Engineer (IT)
**Role Summary**
Responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and evolution of a multi‑site IT infrastructure. Performs day‑to‑day operations, project modernization, security policy implementation, and automation across Microsoft, virtualization, backup, networking, telephony, and observability platforms.
**Expectations**
- Manage and optimize Microsoft environments (EntraID, Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory).
- Maintain operational readiness of systems and networks.
- Drive modernization projects: virtualization, backup, cybersecurity, messaging, and automation.
- Execute security controls, access management, MFA, and ISO 27001 compliance.
- Deliver high‑quality documentation and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage with international teams and stakeholders, communicating effectively in English.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Administer and tune Microsoft EntraID, Office 365, Exchange, and Active Directory.
- Operate VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, Proxmox, and manage Veeam and Zerto backup solutions; develop and maintain BC/DR plans.
- Supervise and administer Meraki and Aruba networking gear; configure VPNs, and deploy Zoom for voice and video.
- Operate and enhance SIEM (e.g., Splunk); create dashboards, process alerts, and improve detection capability.
- Enforce group security policies: MFA, access control, audit readiness.
- Participate in migrations, infrastructure modernization, and automation initiatives using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform.
- Contribute to internal Wiki, ServiceNow processes, and documentation for knowledge transfer.
**Required Skills**
- Deep experience with VMware, Veeam, Meraki, Zoom, and Microsoft 365 stack.
- Proficient in scripting: PowerShell, Python.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk or equivalent).
- Knowledge of IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Strong security mindset: MFA, access control, ISO 27001 compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple technical initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience administering Systems & Networks in complex, multi‑site environments.
- Certifications (preferred): Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator, VMware Certified Professional, Splunk Core Certified, or equivalent.
- Experience with Linux environments is an asset.
