Job Title: Windows System Engineer Specialist
Role Summary:
Seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to maintain system infrastructure reliability, security, and modernization through administration, virtualization, automation, and technological transformation projects. Contributions include optimizing Microsoft environments, managing virtual and backup solutions, network oversight, security compliance, and automation initiatives.
Expectations:
Minimum 5–7 years of complex system/network administration experience. Must thrive in multinational, multitechnology environments with concurrent technical tasks and international collaboration. Strong documentation habits and cross-functional teamwork required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Microsoft systems (EntraID, O365, Exchange, Active Directory) for access, rights, and security.
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Proxmox) and backup tools (Veeam, Zerto), implementing disaster recovery plans.
- Oversee network/telephony integrations (Meraki, Aruba, VPN, Zoom voice/video).
- Operate SIEM tools (Splunk or alternatives), maintain log analytics dashboards, and enhance incident detection.
- Enforce cybersecurity policies (MFA, access controls, ISO 27001 compliance) and conduct security audits.
- Drive infrastructure modernization, migrations, and operational automation via scripting (PowerShell/Python) and IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Update technical documentation in internal systems (Wiki/ServiceNow) while refining operational processes.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in VMware, Veeam, Meraki, and Zoom platforms.
- Proficiency in Splunk or equivalent SIEM tools.
- Advanced scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation tooling (Ansible, Terraform).
- Strong cybersecurity foundations (MFA, compliance, access governance).
- Collaborative problem-solving mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Microsoft, VMware, or Splunk certifications advantageous but not mandatory.
