Job Description

Job title: Back End Developer Role Summary: Senior Back‑End Developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable microservices using Go (Golang). Lead architecture discussions, implement event‑driven patterns, and ensure high quality, testable code across production‑grade services. Expactations: - Deliver reliable, maintainable backend services that support integrated urgent care solutions. - Champion clean code practices and rigorous testing. - Actively participate in architecture reviews and technical decision‑making. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and refactor Go microservices, including asynchronous workflows with RabbitMQ. - Create, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and Redis cache usage. - Build and maintain Docker‑based containerized deployments. - Write unit, integration, and performance tests; uphold code coverage and quality standards. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and translate them into robust backend solutions. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize service performance in production environments. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Go (Golang) with strong object‑oriented and functional programming experience. - In‑depth knowledge of event‑driven architecture and microservices patterns. - Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Docker. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code. - Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude toward technology improvement. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CNCF Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Docker Certified Associate) preferred but not mandatory.
