Job Description

**Job Title:** Software Engineer (Full‑Stack) **Role Summary:** Hands‑on full‑stack developer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining web‑based software products used by consumers at scale. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high‑performing applications and support integration with APIs and legacy systems. **Expectations:** - Deliver clean, production‑ready code in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js. - Build and maintain responsive front‑ends using React or comparable frameworks. - Ensure system reliability and stability while continuously improving existing platforms. - Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Participate in CI/CD processes and containerized deployments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop full‑stack features for transactional/e‑commerce applications. - Create, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs and integration points. - Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold quality standards. - Manage version control with Git and support CI/CD pipeline automation. - Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to maintain system uptime. - Contribute to architectural decisions for distributed, national‑scale systems. **Required Skills:** - Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js (production experience). - Solid backend engineering experience in transactional or e‑commerce environments. - Front‑end development expertise with React or similar frameworks. - Experience working with APIs, integrations, and legacy systems. - Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker). - Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work with both technical and non‑technical teams. **Desirable Skills (optional):** - C#/.NET development. - CMS‑driven or phased migration experience. - AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS). - Experience with large‑scale distributed systems. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, *or* equivalent practical experience. - No specific certifications required.
