Job Title: Lead Infrastructure Architect
Role Summary:
Architect and lead the design and evolution of enterprise infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategy, scalability, resilience, and security. Drive high‑level and detailed designs, governance, and best‑practice standards across a multi‑disciplinary digital architecture function.
Expectations:
- Deliver innovative, scalable infrastructure solutions that meet business and tech objectives.
- Influence decision‑making, risk management, and continuity planning.
- Maintain current‑state and future‑state roadmaps and ensure their alignment with enterprise architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review high‑level and detailed infrastructure designs, technical specifications, and solution blueprints.
- Lead architecture discussions with business analysts, solution architects, security, and platform teams.
- Define and enforce enterprise‑wide infrastructure standards, patterns, and governance.
- Update and maintain infrastructure domain roadmaps, keeping them aligned with business goals.
- Contribute to risk, disaster recovery, and high‑availability planning.
- Support digital transformation initiatives and populate EA toolset with infrastructure data.
- Assess emerging technologies and industry trends; recommend adoption aligned with strategy.
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in Microsoft infrastructure: AD DS, Group Policy, Windows Server (2012–2022), DNS, DHCP, WINS, File Services, DFS, Print Services, O365 (Teams, SharePoint).
- Azure cloud experience (subscription management, networking, identity).
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, scalability, resilience, security, and operational efficiency.
- Collaboration across cross‑functional teams; ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Preferred Technologies & Experience:
- Hybrid identity & access management (Entra Connect, SSO, MFA).
- Server virtualization – VMware ESX/NSX.
- Desktop virtualization – VMware Horizon.
- Enterprise load balancing – F5 BigIP, VMware ALB.
- Endpoint management – SCCM/Intune.
- Microsoft security baselines and security best practices.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Professional certifications in Microsoft Azure (e.g., AZ‑104, AZ‑303/304), VMware (e.g., VCP‑DCV), and/or relevant identity/security technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate).
