Job Title: Fractional Head of AI – Full Service Marketing Agency
Role Summary:
Strategic AI leader responsible for driving measurable client performance and internal operational efficiency in a multi‑client marketing agency. Develops and executes an AI roadmap across attribution, campaign optimisation, reporting, forecasting, and resource management while ensuring compliance with privacy and ethical standards.
Expectations:
- Deliver demonstrable ROI on AI initiatives (e.g., improved CAC, LTV, ROAS, margin, utilisation).
- Scale AI solutions across client accounts and internal teams within budget and deadlines.
- Influence agency leadership, client CMOs, and delivery teams to adopt data‑driven decision making.
- Maintain compliance with GDPR, consent management, and data transparency requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement an agency‑wide AI strategy aligned with commercial objectives.
- Identify and prioritise AI use cases in attribution modelling, audience targeting, creative optimisation, media spend allocation, and forecasting.
- Unify and analyse data from Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, GA4, HubSpot, Salesforce, BigQuery, Looker, and internal systems.
- Build bespoke attribution, predictive performance, LTV forecasting, and churn models; automate client‑ready reporting.
- Design AI‑enabled resource planning tools to forecast workload, utilisation, and demand; optimise project timelines and team allocation.
- Oversee concurrent AI projects, ensuring alignment with KPIs, budgets, and delivery schedules.
- Lead and mentor data, analytics, and marketing operations teams; cultivate cross‑functional AI literacy.
- Translate complex AI insights into clear, commercially relevant recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Support new business and upsell opportunities by articulating AI‑led differentiation.
- Champion continuous improvement of AI frameworks, testing, and evidence‑based decision making.
Required Skills:
- Strategic AI and martech leadership in a fast‑paced agency setting.
- Advanced data integration and analysis across advertising, CRM, analytics, and internal platforms.
- Expertise in attribution modelling, predictive analytics, LTV, churn, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in Python, modern ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn), and data tooling.
- Strong command of GA4, HubSpot, Salesforce, BigQuery, Looker, and reporting automation.
- Ability to design AI‑driven capacity planning and utilisation models.
- Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Change management and emotional intelligence to navigate ambiguity and resistance.
- Knowledge of GDPR, data privacy, consent management, and ethical AI practices.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications in AI/ML, data analytics, or martech (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce, Tableau, AWS/Azure ML) preferred.
