**Job Title**
DevOps Engineer (Gender-neutral)
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and maintain automated, scalable, and secure deployment pipelines for mission‑critical communication solutions. Drive continuous improvement in development, operations, and security practices across a global, Agile‑based product team.
**Expectations**

- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, review, and evolve platform strategy and architecture.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Orchestrate application deployment using Docker & Kubernetes, ensuring seamless scaling and rolling upgrades.
- Design and document HA, disaster‑recovery, and fault‑tolerance plans for all platform components.
- Develop and maintain IaC templates (Terraform, Ansible) to provision and manage cloud‑native resources.
- Build and maintain GitLab (or equivalent) CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and release cycles.
- Implement automation for environment provisioning, configuration management, and deployment standards.
- Enforce governance frameworks, security controls, and compliance policies across the platform.
- Mentor and coach teammates on DevSecOps practices and tooling adoption.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient with Linux operating systems.
- Extensive experience in Docker containerization and Kubernetes cluster management.
- Strong IaC expertise (Terraform, Ansible preferred).
- Hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
- Competency in scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Solid understanding of cloud‑native services and virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of security principles, governance, and compliance standards.
- Ability to design and implement self‑service portals for infrastructure provisioning.
- Excellent communication and “can‑do” attitude.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (equivalent experience acceptable).
- Professional certifications desirable: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Terraform Certified Associate, Ansible Certified, or equivalent.
