**Job Title** Director, Data Integration & Architecture **Role Summary** Lead the delivery of third‑party integrations and data conversion between legacy public‑safety systems and a cloud platform. Oversee managers of Solution Architects and Data Solution Engineers, define strategy and standards, and ensure operational excellence, automation, and scalability across the integration portfolio. **Expectations** - Drive high‑quality execution, speed, consistency, and accuracy across all integration projects. - Provide strategic direction, coaching, and performance oversight for an 8‑10‑person team. - Act as the primary technical escalation point for customers and senior stakeholders. - Allocate resources using capacity modeling, forecasting, and workforce planning. - Communicate status, risks, and roadmaps to executive sponsors. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead and develop managers of Solution Architects & Data Solution Engineers. - Partner with engineering, networking, and infrastructure teams to design secure, scalable integration solutions. - Manage technical escalations and resolve complex challenges proactively. - Allocate resources across a dynamic portfolio via structured capacity planning. - Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, PSO, and customer leadership to align integration requirements. - Communicate project status, risks, and technical strategies to stakeholders. - Develop standardized methodologies, frameworks, and tooling to increase productivity and quality. - Lead automation initiatives across integration and data conversion workflows. - Modernize internal integration tooling, focusing on scalability, usability, observability, and low‑code/no‑code enablement. - Consolidate legacy tools into a unified platform and define a long‑term roadmap. - Identify emerging technical challenges and propose forward‑thinking solutions. - Define and guide roadmaps for new integration and data conversion service offerings. - Shape packaging, pricing, scoping, and delivery models for services, ensuring repeatable, market‑ready capabilities. **Required Skills** - 5+ years of people management, 10+ years in technical leadership. - Experience designing, deploying, or integrating technical solutions in networking, API, platform, or data‑pipeline domains. - Proficiency with scripting/automation tools (Python, Bash, etc.) and cloud platforms; Azure Pipelines/Dataflows an asset. - Strong competency in resource modeling, forecasting, and capacity planning. - Solid understanding of project management, business process analysis, and integration methodologies. - Excellent communication with technical and non‑technical audiences, including clients and vendors. - Background in public‑safety or Records Management System (RMS) deployments preferred. - Ability to comply with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) requirements. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience; 15+ years experience may substitute). - 8–10+ years of relevant industry experience (or 15+ years in lieu of degree). - Certifications or experience related to CJIS compliance preferred.
