**Job Title:** Senior Security Engineer (SecOps)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, execution and continuous improvement of the organisation’s core security operations. Own vulnerability management, incident detection/readiness/response, security hardening, identity management, advisory, architecture, and awareness across applications, cloud platforms (Azure), and enterprise infrastructure. Drive security standards and champion secure practices across the business.
**Expectations:**
- Three+ years as a Senior SecOps Engineer, Security Engineer or Security Consultant.
- Proven ability to develop incident response playbooks and vulnerability remediation strategies.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security (Azure), application security, network security, and identity & access management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; able to advocate security as a business enabler.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deploy and maintain vulnerability management tooling and processes.
- Design, test and run incident detection, readiness and response procedures.
- Harden and configure infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
- Manage identity, access, and configuration across the enterprise.
- Provide security advisory and consulting to product, DevOps and operational teams.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training.
- Lead security champion initiatives, sharing best practices and emerging threats.
**Required Skills:**
- Senior-level experience in SecOps or Security Engineering.
- Expertise in vulnerability management platforms (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Nessus, Qualys).
- Advanced incident response planning and playbook development.
- Strong cloud security knowledge (Azure, IAM, logging, encryption, secrets management).
- Application security fundamentals (OWASP Top 10, code review, SAST/DAST).
- Core networking knowledge (TCP/IP, OSI, firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS).
- Leadership, communication, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement mindset.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent security certifications preferred.
