Job Title: Service Design Architect Role Summary: Design and deliver managed IT service solutions for cybersecurity, communications, and connectivity, ensuring commercial viability, technical soundness, and alignment with customer requirements. Lead solution design from assessment to hand‑over, collaborating with sales, technical teams, and senior stakeholders. Expactations: - Operate confidently at CxO level. - Manage design risk, assumptions, and validation. - Drive cost‑modeling and commercial proposal approval. - Deliver solutions within £100k–£10m+ bid scopes. - Apply UK managed services best practices and public sector procurement knowledge. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate customer requirements and design appropriate service solutions. - Support sales meetings and present proposals to technical teams and senior stakeholders. - Lead the design process and ensure solutions can be delivered effectively. - Produce documentation, proposals, and commercial models for approval. - Manage risk, assumptions, and service validation through to handover into operations. - Contribute to ongoing service development and cost modelling.
