**Job Title**
Data Scientist Intern – AI & Adoption / Sales Intelligence (F/H)
**Role Summary**
Internship within the Engagement Model Transformation team focused on developing and maintaining analytical dashboards and reports used by the entire sales chain. Responsibilities include designing, training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models to enhance customer churn prediction, scoring, recommendation, and indirect business analysis. The role also involves collaborating with business stakeholders, preparing data, conducting technology scouting, and integrating models into monitoring dashboards.
**Expactations**
- Work on two strategic axes: (1) Improve prediction, scoring, and recommendation models for customer behavior and solution adoption; (2) Analyze indirect business data to uncover growth opportunities.
- Engage with cross‑functional teams to translate business problems into data science projects.
- Explore and apply large language models (LLMs) to process unstructured textual data for richer scoring and recommendation.
- Perform end‑to‑end model lifecycle activities: data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment.
- Continuously monitor model performance and contribute to dashboards for actionable insights.
- Maintain code quality through versioning and documentation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Refine existing predictive algorithms to detect churn signals and high adoption.
- Enhance current client scoring model to quantify account health and potential.
- Build a recommendation engine for next best actions or product suggestions per client.
- Use LLMs to analyze customer feedback, interaction notes, and other unstructured sources.
- Integrate prediction, scoring, and recommendation models into monitoring dashboards.
- Analyze indirect sales partner and reseller network data using data science techniques.
- Identify market trends, growth levers, and opportunities within indirect sales ecosystem.
- Prepare, clean, and enrich large datasets for analysis and modeling.
- Conduct research on relevant algorithms, including generative AI approaches.
- Train and evaluate models using Dassault Systèmes data science tools.
- Deploy models and monitor their performance in production.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Document methodology, code, and results for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient in Python; strong experience with pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, matplotlib, seaborn.
- Basic machine learning and deep learning algorithm development.
- Experience or interest in NLP and LLMs (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain).
- Understanding of time‑series prediction techniques.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, GitLab).
- Strong data preparation, feature engineering, and model evaluation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and team‑work abilities.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Current student pursuing a Master’s (BAC+5) in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least one academic or project‑level experience in machine learning or deep learning.
- Demonstrated knowledge of data science libraries and tools.
