Job Description: Job Title: Robotics PLC Engineer Role Summary: Design, program, and maintain PLC solutions for in‑house robotic systems, enhancing company standards, conducting on‑site implementation and testing, diagnosing faults, and producing as‑built documentation. Expectations: - 30 % international travel to US and Europe. - Ownership of projects and proactive improvement of PLC standards. - Effective communication in Dutch and English. - Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support customers post‑delivery. Key Responsibilities: 1. Analyze robotic installations to define operational requirements. 2. Translate requirements into PLC programs using Siemens TIA Portal and SCL. 3. Extend and refine internal PLC development standards. 4. Implement and test software on client sites, ensuring functionality and safety. 5. Perform fault analysis and resolve issues during commissioning. 6. Generate as‑built files and documentation for final hand‑over. 7. Provide post‑deployment support and troubleshooting as needed. 8. Travel to customer sites in the US and Europe to support projects. Required Skills: - Proficiency in PLC programming, Siemens TIA Portal, and SCL. - Experience in high‑tech industrial environments. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. - Excellent communication in Dutch (native) and English. - Willingness to travel internationally and work autonomously. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation, or related field. - (Optional) Relevant PLC or Siemens certification.
