About the Company

EPSYL is a company of the ALCEN group, meeting various needs in systems design and optimization for large industrial sectors (Nuclear, Aeronautics, Transport).

EPSILON conducts studies for its customers and for its own products and undertakes complex projects in design and implementation with the support and industrial power of the ALCEN group.

By combining its specialist skills in multi-physics modeling/simulation and its deep understanding of systems, EPSILON can drastically shorten the time between the upstream phases of projects and downstream validation tests.

EPSILON has chosen to focus on multi-physics questions combining thermal, fluidic and mechanical issues. In this respect, EPSILON wishes to strengthen its thermal engineering department. The company is now organized in three skill centers:

EPSILON PHYSICS: Dedicated to scientific calculations, in particular Thermal, Mechanical and Fluidic calculations

EPSILON IT: Dedicated to industrial IT

EPSILON SYSTEM: Dedicated to testing and systems integration

Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Engineer (Internship) Role Summary: Support business development activities for a high‑tech R&D company focused on digital twins, new space, and aerospace solutions. Work closely with Business Unit Managers to acquire new clients across industry, energy, building, and aeronautics, qualify their technical needs, and drive opportunity pipelines. Expectations: * 6‑month paid internship. * Strong interest in technical sales and market development. * Ability to learn quickly, be proactive, and manage multiple tasks independently. Key Responsibilities - Conduct active prospecting and initial outreach to potential clients in targeted sectors. - Qualify customer needs, gather essential technical information, and prepare client profiles. - Schedule and assist in sales meetings; support tele‑conferences and on‑site visits. - Build and maintain segmented commercial prospect lists. - Update and manage the CRM system (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent); perform follow‑ups and opportunity tracking. - Monitor market trends, request for proposals, emerging projects, and competitor activity. - Contribute to the preparation of sales presentations, proposal formatting, and technical briefings. - Support HR recruiting activities: sourcing, pre‑qualification, and participation in candidate interviews. Required Skills - Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills. - Curiosity, rigor, and ability to comprehend technical customer challenges. - Familiarity with CRM software and general office productivity tools. - Proficiency in market research, prospecting, and analysis. - Interest in recruitment processes and talent sourcing. - Self‑motivated, organized, and collaborative mindset. Required Education & Certifications - Current student or recent graduate in commerce, business development, sales, or engineering studies. - No specific certifications required; strong academic background in business or engineering acceptable.
