**Job Title:** DevSecOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Responsible for building, securing, and optimizing the end‑to‑end delivery pipeline and cloud platform. Works across Platform Engineering, Security Operations, FinOps, and Observability to ensure reliable, cost‑effective, and compliant software delivery for a headless frontend (Next.js/Vercel) and microservices backend on AWS and SaaS partners.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and core tooling (GitLab, IaC).
- Deploy, configure, and manage security solutions (SAST, DAST, SCA) and enforce cybersecurity policies.
- Coordinate vulnerability management, audits, penetration testing, and risk assessments.
- Monitor and optimize cloud and SaaS infrastructure costs (FinOps).
- Automate observability, monitoring, and alerting; lead incident analysis and remediation.
- Support development environments from local to production, ensuring consistency and reliability.
**Required Skills:**
- **Hard Skills:** TypeScript, Next.js, Vercel, CI/CD (GitLab), infrastructure as code, AWS services, SaaS integrations (Contentful, Algolia, Commerce Layer), security tooling (SAST/DAST/SCA), basic networking and cloud cost management.
- **Soft Skills:** Collaboration, effective communication, problem‑solving, critical thinking, curiosity, adaptability.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent, Certified DevSecOps Engineer.
