Job Description
**Job Title:** Consultant – Data / Data Analyst (F/H) **Role Summary:** Senior data‑consultant within a dedicated Data Advisory team, delivering end‑to‑end Business Intelligence solutions—primarily Power BI and Microsoft Fabric—to small, medium and mid‑size enterprises across sectors. Acts as the primary delivery lead on client engagements and mentors junior consultants. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality BI projects independently while meeting deadlines. - Communicate complex technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing. - Proactively engage with clients to understand needs and propose optimal solutions. - Support junior team members’ technical and operational growth. - Contribute to the firm’s Data & AI Centre of Excellence and service offering development. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct client workshops to capture requirements and define data‑analytics objectives. - Design data models (ERD, star schema, etc.) and implement data pipelines using Power Query, DAX, Azure Fabric components. - Build, test, and deploy Power BI dashboards adhering to UX/UI best practices (e.g., Figma prototypes). - Perform unit and integration testing; document solutions and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure Boards, Repos). - Provide training and post‑implementation support to client users. - Participate in project coordination, sizing, and execution based on complexity. - Aid in the evolution of internal BI/AI service offerings and knowledge base. **Required Skills:** - Advanced proficiency with Power BI (development, DAX, Power Query). - Expert‑level Excel (advanced formulas, Power Pivot, Power Query). - Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving, and ability to challenge assumptions. - Excellent written and oral communication; ability to synthesize information. - Team‑player with strong interpersonal skills; capable of mentoring juniors. - Familiarity with DevOps tools (Azure Boards, Repos) and Microsoft Fabric (Pipeline, Lakehouse, Notebook) is a plus. - SQL experience for data extraction and manipulation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field. - Minimum 2 years of experience in a consulting, audit, or BI‑focused role (e.g., BI consultant, data analyst). - Preferred certifications: Microsoft PL‑300 (Power BI Data Analyst) or PL‑200 (Power Platform Functional Consultant).
