**Job Title**: DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Lead the automation, reliability, and security of clients’ production environments. Work closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitor system performance, and enforce best practices for continuous improvement.
**Expectations**
- Deliver scalable, fault‑tolerant deployments and infrastructure.
- Maintain high availability, performance, and security of production systems.
- Drive incident resolution, post‑mortem analysis, and preventive measures.
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and KPI monitoring.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Deploy and monitor applications in production; configure monitoring (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Ensure environments stay operational (performance tuning, availability, security).
- Manage production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and post‑mortem reports.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Define and track performance KPIs; drive improvement actions.
- Participate in security strategy, disaster recovery (PRA/PCA), and access management.
- Document and standardize operating procedures.
- Apply ITIL processes and actively manage change requests.
**Required Skills**
- **Operating Systems**: Linux/Unix, Windows.
- **Automation/CI‑CD**: Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform.
- **Monitoring**: Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana.
- **Databases**: SQL and NoSQL.
- **Networking**: TCP/IP, VPN, firewall administration.
- **Methodologies**: ITIL, incident and change management.
- **Bonus**: Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT production, system administration, or DevOps roles.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation, AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes) are advantageous.
