**Job title**
Principal Pre‑sales Consultant – Cloud & AI
**Role Summary**
Lead solutioning, architecture design and consultative selling for cloud, AI, data, and application modernization engagements, primarily serving financial services clients.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 8 years of solution architecture experience.
- Proficiency with cloud‑native architectures, IaC, Kubernetes, and cloud/data migrations.
- Hands‑on expertise with AI frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic) and lakehouse platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
- Ability to conduct executive workshops, produce architectural blueprints, and engage in complex solution selling.
- Up to 25 % travel required.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Lead discovery workshops with C‑level, business, and technical stakeholders to capture requirements and align technology with business goals.
2. Design, document, and present end‑to‑end cloud and AI solutions, including architectural blueprints and technical specifications.
3. Build proof‑of‑concepts, prototypes, and live demos to demonstrate solution value.
4. Scope, size, and define project work packages for Studio‑led engagements.
5. Collaborate with sales on proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and compelling sales collateral.
6. Produce thought‑leadership content (blogs, presentations) to position the firm.
7. Mentor junior presales consultants and solution architects.
**Required Skills**
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud‑native architecture.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
- Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Data migration, lakehouse architectures (Snowflake, Databricks), data modeling.
- AI / LLM deployment (OpenAI, Anthropic).
- Complex solution selling and consultative sales techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences.
- Proposal writing, scoping, and cost estimation.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Cloud architecture certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect) – preferred.
- Kubernetes certification (CKA, CKS) – optional but beneficial.
- Snowflake or Databricks data platform certification – optional.
