**Job title:** Senior Data Scientist (F/M)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions (ML, DL, generative AI, NLP, multi‑agent architectures) for business clients. Act as a technical advisor, ensuring methodological quality, data governance, and successful change adoption while driving commercial growth and thought leadership.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver production‑grade AI pipelines within defined timelines.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and measurable outcomes.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team’s technical standards.
- Support pre‑sales, technical demos, and business case development.
- Represent the Data & AI Unit in internal and external communications.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conceive and industrialise innovative AI solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to scope requirements, evaluate feasibility, and conduct workshops.
- Ensure methodological and technical rigor across projects.
- Facilitate deployment, training, and ongoing user support.
- Guide clients on data governance (responsibilities, rights, security).
- Partner with data scientists, data engineers, and business teams.
- Conduct technology scouting (LLMs, RAG, LangChain, LlamaIndex).
- Contribute to the Data & AI Unit’s market positioning and product roadmap.
- Participate in pre‑sales activities (quotations, technical briefings, demos).
- Create and present content (white papers, blog posts, webinars, conferences).
- Maintain relationships with external partners (trainings, certifications, community engagement).
**Required Skills:**
*Technical:*
- 8+ years of experience in Machine Learning, NLP, generative AI (LLMs, RAG), Deep Learning, statistical analysis.
- Build end‑to‑end data pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python and libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑Learn, Pandas, OpenAI.
- SQL expertise.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex.
- Experience with CI/CD, MLOps, Git, Jira, Terraform, Kubernetes.
- Cloud platform knowledge (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks).
*Soft:*
- Strong team collaboration and service orientation.
- Technical leadership: code reviews, standards, mentoring.
- Clear communication (technical & business), synthesis skills.
- Decision‑making balancing value and complexity.
- Bilingual fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Master’s (or higher) or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or a closely related field.
- Certifications in AI/ML tools (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Cloud ML Engineer, Azure AI Engineer) are a plus.
