Senior Manager, Marketing Finance (FP&A)
**Role Summary**
Lead global financial planning, analysis, and governance for the Marketing division, coordinating across US, UK, and Japan. Deliver KPI frameworks, ROI models, and budgeting cycles to drive informed marketing investment decisions and support strategic objectives of Sony Interactive Entertainment.
**Expectations**
- Command a cross‑regional team and deliver accurate, timely financial plans and reports.
- Build and maintain actionable dashboards linking spend to outcomes.
- Champion financial rigor, controls, and governance for all marketing spend.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and standardize Marketing KPI and ROI frameworks (campaign ROI, CAC, LTV, media efficiency, conversion metrics).
- Work with Global Marketing, BI, Brand, and Commercial teams to translate data into insights, produce dashboards, and conduct effectiveness reviews.
- Model ROI for paid media, content, partnership investments and benchmark against performance metrics (impressions, CTR, view‑through, subscriber growth).
- Provide scenario modeling for budget reallocation and decision support.
- Oversee marketing analytics governance, ensuring consistency across markets.
- Integrate KPI and ROI outputs into long‑range planning and forecasting cycles.
- Direct the Global Marketing FP&A team in annual budget, MRP, quarterly forecasts, monthly estimates, and ad‑hoc assessments.
- Drive the creation and automation of reporting suites for senior leadership.
- Conduct variance analysis, financial storytelling, and highlight performance drivers.
- Partner with Global Marketing, FP&R, Strategy, and other commercial finance teams to manage risk, opportunity, and accountability.
- Implement processes to enhance financial rigor, controls, and governance across marketing spend.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, system automation, and stakeholder education.
- Supervise a global team across San Mateo, London, and Tokyo.
- Handle ad‑hoc projects and special assignments as required.
**Required Skills**
- Senior experience in global FP&A, commercial finance, and financial analytics.
- Proven leadership with change‑management and improvement focus.
- Strong analytical, methodological, and detail‑oriented mindset.
- Proficient in KPI development, ROI modeling, dashboard creation, and scenario planning.
- Excellent communication & executive partnership skills.
- Self‑starter with initiative, organization, and proactive problem‑solving.

**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field).
- MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced finance qualification preferred.
