Job Description

Job title: Incident Response Lead Role Summary: Lead the end‑to‑end incident response program, directing investigations, coordinating with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement of cyber defense capabilities. Expactations: • Deliver timely, authoritative responses to high‑impact incidents • Foster high‑performance team culture and clear communication under pressure • Translate technical findings into actionable insights for senior leadership Key Responsibilities: • Manage incident lifecycle from detection to resolution, including forensic analysis and root‑cause investigations. • Lead cross‑functional incident response teams, delegating tasks, and ensuring adherence to playbooks. • Act as the primary liaison with senior stakeholders during critical events. • Develop, test, and refine incident response playbooks and SOPs. • Conduct post‑incident reviews, identify lessons learned, and implement process enhancements. • Provide mentorship and training to junior responders. Required Skills: • Extensive experience in cybersecurity incident response. • Proven leadership of high‑performance technical teams. • Deep understanding of attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures. • Exceptional written and verbal communication, able to explain complex topics to non‑technical audiences. • Strong analytical and decision‑making under pressure. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GCIA, GCIH, or equivalent) preferred.
