Job Description

Job Title: Fullstack Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, deploy, and maintain web, mobile, and tablet applications using Java 17, Spring Batch, and Kubernetes. Collaborate in Agile (Scrum/SAFe) teams to deliver high‑quality solutions for energy‑sector clients, ensuring smooth packaging, continuous delivery, and client communication. Expactations: Deliver production‑ready code on schedule; participate actively in Agile ceremonies; maintain clear and structured documentation; troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues; advocate for best coding practices and secure, maintainable architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and enhance backend services with Java 17, Spring Batch, and SQL. - Build automated deployment pipelines (Jenkins, Flyway, Ansible) and manage containerized releases on Kubernetes. - Package and deliver applications, ensuring smooth progression from build to production. - Conduct code reviews, run unit tests (JUnit), and enforce quality gates (SonarQube). - Engage with clients during Agile meetings, gather requirements, and provide technical guidance. - Monitor system health, trigger alerts, and coordinate incident resolution with cross‑functional teams. - Continuously improve development processes, document best practices, and challenge existing workflows when necessary. Required Skills: - Proficient in Java 17 programming and Spring Batch framework. - Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and container deployment. - Strong knowledge of SQL database design and query optimization. - Hands‑on with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Flyway, Ansible; source control with Git. - Familiarity with automated code quality tools: SonarQube, JUnit. - Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe). - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex concepts to mixed audiences. - Autonomous, curious, proactive problem‑solving attitude. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE, Scrum Master) considered an asset.
