Job title: Director, Consumer Growth Marketing
Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end growth initiatives, driving acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and user contributions across the consumer lifecycle. Own strategy, execution, and performance measurement while fostering a data‑driven, experimentation‑oriented culture.
Expectations:
- Define and execute scalable growth strategy aligning with business objectives.
- Mentor and empower a high‑performance marketing team.
- Leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to innovate campaigns and optimize user experience.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally (Product, Engineering, Design, Biz Ops, Community).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement multi‑channel acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and contribution programs across all verticals.
2. Partner with Product and Biz Ops to refine onboarding and activation funnels, reducing friction and accelerating user “aha” moments.
3. Design lifecycle programs (email, push, in‑product) that deepen engagement, cross‑sell, and prevent churn.
4. Drive proactive retention and re‑acquisition campaigns using customer insights.
5. Increase reviewer and contributor activity through rapid experimentation and channel optimization.
6. Champion a test‑and‑learn mindset: design, run, analyze A/B tests, and iterate across all growth touchpoints.
7. Own growth measurement framework; collaborate with Growth Science to track metrics, forecast, and report ROI.
8. Integrate AI and automation to enhance personalization, creative output, and operational efficiency.
9. Mentor team members, building world‑class growth marketing capabilities and a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years in full‑funnel growth marketing, with proven results in traffic generation, onboarding, lifecycle engagement, retention, and user contributions.
- Strong analytical mindset: expertise in data‑driven decision making, advanced analytics, and experimentation frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in AI/automation tools and techniques for marketing and product messaging.
- Deep knowledge of multi‑channel strategy across acquisition, lifecycle, and in‑product channels.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder communication.
- Leadership experience in building and scaling high‑performing, independent marketing teams.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Relevant certifications in digital marketing, analytics, or AI (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Data Science).
