**Job Title:**
Project Manager – IBMi/AS400 (ERP)
**Role Summary:**
Lead ERP initiatives for internal business functions (sales, accounting, logistics) within a mid‑size ERP team. Manage full project lifecycle, supervise a technical team, and contribute hands‑on to solution design, development, testing, and deployment using RPG, IBMi/AS400, SQL, and PHP technologies.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 2 years experience as an ERP Project Manager.
- At least 5 years hands‑on development experience with RPG (free) or PHP.
- Ability to analyze business needs, anticipate risks, estimate effort, and produce clear specifications.
- Proven capability to train and guide a small technical team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct requirements analysis, risk assessment, effort estimation, and author functional specifications for ERP projects.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Lead and mentor a team of 4 developers, providing technical guidance and training.
- Allocate ~30 % of time to design, code, test, maintain, and deliver ERP solutions.
- Ensure solution quality, documentation, and alignment with business objectives.
**Required Skills:**
- ERP project management (scope definition, scheduling, budgeting).
- Business analysis and requirement gathering.
- Team leadership and training.
- Strong programming proficiency in RPG (free), IBMi/AS400, SQL, and PHP.
- Software development lifecycle (design, unit testing, integration, maintenance).
- Problem‑solving, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred but not mandatory.
