Data & AI Strategist – Manager / Senior Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead enterprise‑level AI and data strategy development for financial services clients, driving transformative, AI‑enabled operating models and securing executive endorsement through compelling narratives and business cases.
**Expectations**
- 5+ years of strategy consulting or corporate innovation, ideally within financial services.
- Proven ability to influence C‑suite, design executive‑level workshops, and manage ambiguity.
- Demonstrated thought leadership or business development in the AI domain.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with C‑suite to shape strategic AI ambitions and align data capabilities with competitive differentiation.
- Define data and AI strategies, identify high‑impact use cases, and create situated business cases for board approval.
- Transform client operating models toward adaptive, autonomous, insight‑led processes that replace traditional decision‑making with AI‑enabled workflows.
- Lead executive workshops, visioning sessions, and stakeholder alignment initiatives.
- Develop compelling PowerPoint narratives and facilitate cross‑functional engagement.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, risk, product, and data teams to ensure strategic recommendations are actionable and grounded.
- Contribute to generating AI thought leadership, positioning the firm as a regional expert.
- Mentor junior consultants, embed strategic thinking across teams, and develop strategy methodologies and accelerators.
- Engage in business development conversations, shape proposals, and support proposal writing efforts.
**Required Skills**
- Deep knowledge of data and AI domains, including generative AI, ethics, legislation (e.g., EU AI Act), and operating‑model design.
- Strong strategic thinking, business‑case building, and ability to articulate value to senior audiences.
- Expertise in workshop design and facilitation, executive‑level alignment, and cross‑functional leadership.
- Comfort working in ambiguous, outcomes‑driven environments.
- Advanced narrative and PowerPoint development skills.
- Strategic understanding of data tooling and analytical techniques (not technical implementation).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant certifications in AI/ML strategy, data governance, or project management (e.g., PMI, Certified Analytics Professional) are advantageous.
