Job Description: Job Title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Full‑stack developer responsible for designing, coding, integrating, and validating software solutions for global clients. Works through the entire software development lifecycle, applying best practices and maintaining high‑quality code across multiple platforms. Expectations: Deliver robust, scalable applications; adhere to Agile processes; maintain documentation; collaborate across projects; continuously improve engineering processes; meet security clearance standards. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in all stages of the SDLC (requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment). - Produce detailed design documents and maintain clear, version‑controlled code. - Integrate and validate software on target hardware platforms. - Support off‑site or overseas system integration and testing activities. - Champion and enforce best engineering practices (CI/CD, code quality, testing). - Assist the Software Manager with policy development and process improvement. - Provide cross‑project technical expertise through code reviews and testing support. Required Skills: - Microsoft Visual Studio 2022/2026. - Azure DevOps with CI/CD pipeline configuration. - Agile methodologies (Scrum or similar). - C#/.NET (NET 4.6 to .NET 10.0) and Visual C++ 14.0+. - WPF, ASP.NET Core, Blazor. - Multithreading and concurrent execution. - Object‑Oriented Design, Design Patterns, SOLID, Clean Architecture. - Network protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP. - Unit testing frameworks (MSTest, NUnit). - Ability to hold or obtain UK Security Clearance. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. - UK Security Clearance (current or attainable).
