Job Title: ServiceNow Lead Developer
Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions that align with ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB business needs. Own platform enhancements, automation, AI initiatives, and integrations across enterprise applications.
Expectations: • Minimum 5+ years of ServiceNow development and implementation experience. • 8+ years overall software development. • Full ownership from business analysis through production deployment. • Demonstrated proactive stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, discovery).
- Lead semi‑annual platform upgrades, new feature releases, and performance optimization.
- Champion automation and AI (Now Assist, virtual agents, self‑service workflows) to reduce help‑desk load.
- Own key initiatives such as SAM Pro module deployment and automation of routine IT tasks.
- Build and maintain robust integrations (REST, SOAP, JSON, APIs) with external systems.
- Provide incident response, root‑cause analysis, and long‑term fixes.
- Document architecture, designs, and configuration changes.
- Educate, present, and advocate process improvements and ROI to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- ServiceNow development and implementation (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, discovery).
- Strong JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and server‑side scripting.
- Experience with REST/SOAP/JSON APIs and integration patterns.
- SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Automation tools (Now Assist, virtual agents, self‑service workflows).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder alignment, and strategic thinking.
- Self‑starter capable of working in a distributed, fast‑paced environment.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline (preferred).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (or higher) highly desired.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ITIL, ITSM) preferred.
