Job Description
**Job Title**: Software Engineer (Cloud) **Role Summary**: Design, build, and maintain secure cloud‑based services, APIs, and infrastructure that interface with ZeroRISC’s embedded operating system. Deliver scalable, reliable cloud solutions while ensuring strong security and integration with embedded devices. **Expectations**: - Early‑career engineer (3 + years) with a focus on cloud infrastructure or cloud services. - Ability to work independently and collaborate with senior engineers and product teams. - Commitment to continuous learning in cloud computing, distributed systems, and secure software practices. **Key Responsibilities**: 1. Design, implement, and maintain cloud architecture and APIs for the platform. 2. Develop cloud services that interface with the embedded OS and provide core features for end users. 3. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs; write automated tests for reliability and maintainability. 4. Stay current on industry developments in cloud, distributed systems, and secure software, applying new knowledge to projects. **Required Skills**: - Proficient programming in Go and Python (experience with Go desirable). - Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and system design fundamentals. - Deep knowledge of distributed systems, cloud computing concepts, and RESTful API design. - Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms. - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. - Understanding of PKI and hardware security practices. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
