Job title: Full Stack Developer (F/M)
Role Summary:
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain web applications across front‑end and back‑end layers to support risk, finance, compliance, and data functions within a banking IT environment. Engage in an agile, cross‑disciplinary team, contributing to continuous improvement and stability of mission‑critical solutions.
Expactations:
- Full‑stack programming with JavaScript (Node.js, React, Angular) or Python
- Database proficiency with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and introductory non‑relational systems
- Knowledge of secure authentication protocols (Okta, SAML, WS‑Fed, LDAP/LDAPS)
- Familiarity with DevOps tooling (Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, XL Deploy/Release, Checkmarx SAST)
- Experience using Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) in an Agile context
- Ability to analyze user stories, estimate effort, and deliver functional solutions on time
- Fluency in English for collaboration with Production teams in Porto
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in full application life‑cycle: analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and run‑support
- Translate business requirements and user stories into technical specifications, estimates, and solutions in collaboration with Business Analysts and Product Owners
- Develop, unit‑test, and document RESTful APIs and front‑end interfaces
- Perform integration and performance tuning of data flows and applications
- Execute system, integration, and acceptance testing, and resolve defects
- Monitor application stability, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement enhancements
- Deliver builds to test, staging, and production environments, coordinating with the Production Application team
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and user guides
Required Skills:
- Programming: JavaScript (Node.js, React, Angular) or Python
- Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL; knowledge of NoSQL concepts
- Tools: WinSCP, FileZilla, MobaXterm, Control‑M, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, XL Deploy, XL Release, Checkmarx SAST
- Authentication: Okta, SAML, WS‑Fed, LDAP/LDAPS
- API Development: REST principles, versioning, documentation
- Methodologies: Agile Scrum/Scrum‑like frameworks, sprint ceremonies, backlog grooming
- Collaboration: strong written and verbal communication, team orientation, adaptability
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical field
- Professional certifications in software development, DevOps, or security are advantageous but not mandatory.
