Job Description: **Job Title:** System Engineer **Role Summary** Build, maintain, and troubleshoot critical IT infrastructure across multiple sites, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Collaborate with global teams to optimize systems and implement automation. **Expectations** Minimum 5 years’ experience as a System Engineer with technical proficiency in hybrid cloud and virtualized environments. **Key Responsibilities** - Manage and monitor installed systems, infrastructure, and applications. - Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, software, and management tools. - Proactively ensure system availability and optimize performance through monitoring and bottleneck resolution. - Implement and maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies. - Provide 24/7 on-call 3rd-level support and duty coverage. - Document procedures and collaborate with developers to resolve technical issues. - Support hybrid cloud, virtualization (Azure, VMWare, Nutanix), and storage solutions (e.g., Rubrik). **Required Skills** - Windows Server, Active Directory (AD/Domain Controllers/GPOs), Microsoft SQL, O365. - Azure Cloud administration (Azure AD Connect, VMs). - Virtualization: Nutanix AHV (5.11+), VMWare ESXi (7+), Prism Central, vSphere. - Linux SLES environments; scripting (PowerShell/Shell). - Monitoring tools: Nagios, Check MK. - Networking fundamentals (OSI/TCP/IP Layers 1-2). - Security tools: Trend Deep Security, Apex One. - Backup/storage experience (Rubrik preferred). **Required Education & Certifications** None specified; 5+ years’ hands-on technical experience in system engineering required.
