Job Description

**Job Title** Senior Data Scientist – AI/Deep Learning (Python) **Role Summary** Lead end‑to‑end AI and deep‑learning projects in an industrial setting. Own model design, training, evaluation, and deployment while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior data scientists. **Expectations** - Minimum 2 years of professional data science / AI experience (excluding internships). - High autonomy and ownership of technical initiatives. - Proven ability to lead or act as a technical reference. - Strong communication skills for clear delivery of insights to technical and business stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design, train, and optimize deep‑learning models for classification and analysis tasks. 2. Prepare, explore, and structure large, industrial datasets. 3. Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics, validation schemes, and comparative studies. 4. Continuously improve existing models and document findings. 5. Detect algorithmic anomalies and propose corrective actions. 6. Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to integrate solutions into production workflows. 7. Present results and technical choices clearly to non‑technical audiences. 8. Serve as a technical point of contact for the data science team and challenge peers on best practices. **Required Skills** - Advanced proficiency in Python (numpy, pandas, scikit‑learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow). - Experience building and training deep‑learning architectures (CNN, RNN, Transformers, etc.). - Strong grasp of classification theory, evaluation metrics, and model validation techniques. - Data engineering skills: data cleaning, feature engineering, and pipeline creation. - Solid statistical background and knowledge of probability. - Excellent problem‑solving and analytical thinking. - Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Certifications in AI/ML (e.g., TensorFlow Specialist, PyTorch Developer) are a plus but not mandatory.
