Job Description

**Job Title** Subcontracting Manager (Co‑ordinator) **Role Summary** Oversee the end‑to‑end subcontracting strategy to support transport and logistics operations. Responsible for sourcing, selecting, and managing a high‑performance network of subcontractors; negotiating contracts; ensuring compliance; validating deliverables; reporting; and continually optimizing processes. **Expectations** - Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement, subcontracting, or transport operations. - Proven negotiation and partner‑development skills. - Familiarity with transport or logistics operational constraints is advantageous. - Strong leadership, listening, and relational abilities. - Self‑driven, organized, tenacious, and adaptable. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Strategic Sourcing & Network Development** - Identify, assess, and onboard new subcontractors. - Build and maintain a reliable, high‑performance supplier portfolio. - Analyze partner capabilities and secure collaboration agreements. 2. **Negotiation & Contractualisation** - Lead negotiations on price, quality, lead times, and other terms. - Draft, execute, and monitor contracts. - Ensure contractual compliance and performance adherence. 3. **Operational Oversight** - Supervise contract implementation and validation of services (quality, cost, internal satisfaction). - Provide clear, structured reporting to stakeholders. 4. **Optimization & Relationship Management** - Foster ongoing relationships with subcontractors. - Identify improvement opportunities and propose process optimisations. **Required Skills** - Negotiation & contractual drafting - Supplier sourcing and evaluation - Supplier relationship management - Process optimisation - Analytical and reporting - Excellent communication & interpersonal skills - Leadership & decision‑making - Organization and time‑management - Adaptability and resilience **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field. - Professional procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, ASCM, IEE) considered an asset but not mandatory.
