**Job Title:** Account Director (Contract) **Role Summary:** Strategic and financial lead for client accounts, responsible for driving innovative multi‑channel campaigns, managing revenue targets, and guiding cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality work on time and within budget. Acts as the primary advisor to senior client stakeholders and internal leadership, ensuring collaborative, media‑agnostic solutions that generate measurable business value. **Expectations:** - Achieve and exceed client revenue and profitability targets. - Develop and present proactive strategic proposals that deliver demonstrable ROI. - Maintain strong, growth‑focused relationships with key budget‑holding client contacts and partner agencies. - Ensure all projects meet quality, timeline, and budget standards while complying with legal and reporting requirements. - Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and agency‑wide knowledge sharing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead account team in the creation and execution of integrated, multi‑channel campaigns. - Serve as the lead negotiator for agency fees, retainers, and contract terms. - Forecast, monitor, and own account financial performance, adjusting strategies to mitigate revenue risks. - Oversee project planning, billing processes, and timely invoicing in alignment with forecast cycles. - Drive the development of compelling briefs and strategic/creative responses, ensuring alignment with client KPIs. - Conduct post‑campaign evaluations, disseminate learnings, and champion process improvements. - Recruit, mentor, and appraise staff; collaborate with HR on talent development and retention. - Promote cross‑disciplinary collaboration to ensure ideas are media‑agnostic and integrated across consumer touchpoints. **Required Skills:** - Proven track record (8+ years) delivering innovative multi‑channel advertising campaigns. - Strong commercial acumen with experience managing large budgets and revenue forecasting. - Excellent client‑facing and negotiation skills, comfortable with senior stakeholders. - Leadership ability to motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams in an entrepreneurial environment. - Strategic thinking with a data‑driven approach to measuring campaign effectiveness. - Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work without predefined processes, creating adaptable solutions. - Familiarity with agency financials, billing cycles, and legal compliance. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications, or related field (required). - Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Marketing Executive, Project Management Professional) preferred but not mandatory.
