**Job Title:** Head of AI Operations – B2B SaaS
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, implementation, and governance of AI‑driven automation across the organization. Transform manual, high‑volume processes into intelligent workflows, embed AI into core SaaS stacks (Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot, etc.), and deliver measurable ROI while ensuring compliance, security, and user adoption.
**Expectations:**
- Develop and execute an AI roadmap focused on ROI, margin impact, and scalability.
- Reduce operational costs and manual effort without adding headcount.
- Deliver quantifiable improvements in CS capacity, reporting speed, and data‑driven decision making within 12‑18 months.
- Establish a company‑wide AI Playbook and champion ethical, GDPR‑compliant AI use.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and prioritize AI/automation initiatives; set success metrics (time/capital reclaimed).
- Architect and deploy AI‑enabled workflows using n8n/Make, Python, SQL, Zapier, and LLM APIs.
- Integrate automation across Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot, Zuora, Thrive LMS, and related systems via APIs/webhooks.
- Partner with data teams to build predictive insights, RAG pipelines, and executive dashboards.
- Create and maintain governance standards, security protocols, and training programs for AI tools.
- Lead cross‑functional change management to embed AI into daily operations.
**Required Skills:**
- **Technical:** Expert with n8n/Make, Python, SQL; strong API integration experience; proficiency in prompt engineering and OpenAI/Anthropic APIs; familiarity with vector databases and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG).
- **System Mastery:** Proven track record automating complex CRM (Salesforce) and support (Zendesk) environments.
- **Commercial Acumen:** Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (MRR, churn, NRR); ability to link automation to P&L impact.
- **Analytical:** ROI‑focused mindset; data‑driven decision making.
- **Leadership & Culture:** High agency, comfortable in ambiguity, able to drive cross‑functional adoption and build AI governance.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Demonstrated experience (8+ years) in AI/automation leadership within a SaaS environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator/Architect, AWS/Azure AI/ML, data engineering) are a plus but not mandatory.
