**Job title:** Customer Marketing Data Analyst (6‑month FTC)
**Role Summary:**
Provide data‑driven insights for customer marketing and CRM initiatives. Build analytics solutions, dashboards, and attribution models to inform campaign design, performance tracking, and growth strategy. Work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into technical data requirements and actionable recommendations.
**Expactations:**
- 6‑month contract, hybrid (1‑2 days in office).
- Fast‑paced environment with immediate start.
- Collaboration with Marketing, CRM, Data Engineering, and senior stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Analyse customer behaviours, journeys, and lifecycle moments to support segmentation, targeting, and engagement strategies.
2. Design and evaluate marketing experiments to refine strategy through continuous A/B testing.
3. Develop end‑to‑end analytics pipelines: data modelling → dashboards → insights for growth, cross‑sell, and retention.
4. Translate stakeholder requests into technical data needs and partner with Data Engineers for scalable, reliable solutions.
5. Build strategic dashboards in Looker and Mixpanel to enable data‑informed decision making.
6. Create attribution frameworks or statistical models to quantify marketing impact across customer touchpoints.
7. Serve as the go‑to analytics partner, providing proactive insights and fostering a data‑first culture.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven experience in marketing/CRM data analysis (exploratory & descriptive).
- Advanced SQL (analytical, window, pivot functions) on raw, unstructured data.
- Strong grasp of marketing metrics, funnel analysis, segmentation, and attribution models.
- Proficiency in BI visualization tools – Looker preferred; experience with Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4.
- Familiarity with customer‑engagement/experimentation platforms (Braze, Optimizely).
- Experience in cloud‑based data environments (BigQuery, GCP); knowledge of dbt/Dataform advantageous.
- Python knowledge desirable for data manipulation and modeling.
- Excellent communication skills to present insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative, impact‑driven mindset with ability to turn data into action.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
- Optional certifications: Google Cloud Data Analytics, Looker, SQL proficiency, or equivalent.
